hermes-assistant

hermes-assistant is my personal email assistant. It connects to my own Gmail account through Google OAuth and helps me manage my inbox on my instructions.

What it does

• Reads my incoming email to sort it and prepare a daily summary for me
• Applies labels, archives, and marks messages as read
• Moves unwanted messages (such as spam or promotions) to the trash
• Sends email and replies on my behalf when I ask it to

What it does not do

• It is not offered to anyone else. Only my own Google account is connected.
• It does not sell, share, or use email data for advertising.
• It does not use email data to train AI models.

Email content is processed by OpenAI models, through my own ChatGPT account with model training turned off, to sort and summarize messages. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
